Blogvertise:- / they don't pay you to blog
It's been a month now and I have not had any assignments as yet. Checked their website and logged into my account. I have been approved by them my status: Active
I recently, received an email, stating that I'm on probation for six months, my blog does not generate enough traffic and that I do not have enough blog published a contradiction to what's stated on their website, but, In order to make money I should join their affiliate program and put their banners on my blog
Are they a scam or just another company with this incredible marketing ploy to get saps like myself to blog about them, taking advantage of this new SEO friendly inbound marketing. Should by some miracle the Google blog search gods send this incredible amount of traffic to my blog.
To which I really don't care much about since I blog because It gives me pleasure to push freedom of speech to it's limits and I can say what I want with no fear of reprisals.or repercussions
Well it cost nothing to sign up with them except broken promises, My new buzz word for today is in fact broken promises, a politically correct way of saying i've been lied to.
Every one lies is the constant adage, constantly heard, but you know what? Goddammit I don't.
So it really bothers me when I hear the word lie in any context.
Any way's after researching them further they do not have as many advertisers as they claim to have.
So like Phineas Taylor Barnum (July 5, 1810 – April 7, 1891) An American showman remembered for hoaxes and for founding the circus that became the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Barnum never flinched from his stated goal "to put money in his own coffers." He was a businessman, his profession was entertainment, and he was perhaps the first show business millionaire. There's claims he never said "There's a sucker born every minute"
And so, as they came upon this sign that read "Egress"-----> this way, they all followed, and were to be lead outside the tent.

Amazon Associate program
I joined the Amazon Associates Program about a month ago to give my website visitors some thing more than the product I offer. The product I offer Is Custom built doghouses. I do not sell them in large quantities, building these dog house takes time, especially when my main objective is to build a quality product that I know will keep your dog comfortable and safe from the elements. This may sound like a marketing ploy, its not.
I’m rather annoyed with Amazon
When I decided to join the programme I went to amazon.ca, and could not find any dog products to promote on my website so joined up at amazon.com created an A-store, set up a web page on my site, used their widgets and read their on how to pages, I included all the dog products they have to offer, including doghouse. I created a colourful static banner.
Having done everything I was supposed to when I set up with them. I received this email.

Build a specialized Amazon store for your site using aStore: 4. Visit our Best Practices pages to get tips and ideas to help you sell products and drive traffic to your Web site: We hope this information was helpful, and thank you for your participation in our program. Sincerely, The Associates Program Staff |
The bottom line to every business is monthly, quarterly or yearly sales figures. That's every businesses' goal and objective, but alll you hear about is how bad the economy is, I cannot force my visitors to buy some thing they don’t want.
It seems that the Amazon Associate program is not working on my site as confirmed by this email. even though it’s only been a month and some times things take time. I get the feeling Amazon wants me to sell their products and they want me to sell it NOW. I included them on my site, more as an addition rather than the main focus. So
I would like to thank the Amazon Associate program staff for letting me know that my site visitors are not interested in the products they have to offer and as such I will not be offering them any more.
-The above text is one way of showing how they could lose revenue from a simple email to a bruised ego.
-This is just a standard email they send all their associates who generate no sales,
-I will keep the program going, it cost me nothing to join.
-I will make changes to the products I promote, rather than having everything in pet products I will play with offering seasonal teasers.
-money will be made from this program, Hell that's why I joined,
So Amazon sit back relax and watch it happen.
Call me a dreamer, dreaming is what I do, before I venture into a new day.Everyday. with clear intentions.

Getting paid to blog
Basically my understanding of the process from reading their website is that they have Advertisers that need the services and products of their websites reviewed. These advertisers are looking for exposure and publicity that blogging currently generates. It's another form of online marketing that is a lot more SEO friendly, creating more inbound marketing.
They currently have quite a few people that are featured bloggers on their site, so, some one like me, that's just starting out today has to approach this with basically no expectations, that my millions will be made tomorrow, but if with diligence, hopefully, that some monies could be made from doing what I enjoy doing and that's blogging.
Well since I just signed up and they really have no idea if I can construct a normal thought, sentence or idea, or for that matter hold my p's and q's. punctuate, or spell my name. I will just have to wait and see.
After registering with Blogsvertise an email was sent thanking me for registering, and that they would review my blog within 24 hrs and let me know.
So till then, I will search some more, to see who out there will to pay me to blog.
I really do love .sympatico.msn.ca-its my homepage
Yet, I feel my intelligence insulted today.
I turned on my computer like I do every morning, settled down in my chair, and felt my blood pressure rising. I guess my peaceful sleep woke me with a clear mind, staring at my computer screen all I could think of and say is 'WHAT THE HELL, IS ALL THIS BULL SHIT' today on my home page.
Damn, its my home page and there can't be any bull shit on it, why today.
OK- So you're wondering what the hell are you ranting about. For starters, check this screen shot I copied . The date
todays is Feb 12, 2009 valentines day is 2 days away, yet the byline circled reads. "It's not too late!. See how to tone up and get fit for Valentines Day" call me a Dumb-ass, but Valentines day is in 2 frigin day's away, and If there's any one out there that can really get fit in 2 days please let me know, winter has made me fat, and even though, I have no one and no place to go this Valentines day, I would really like to get fit in the next 48 hrs just in case I meet some one single like me. Hell, I could spend all that time during dinner bragging, on how I got fit for the date in 48 hrs because I read it on my home page at sympatico.msn.ca.Now look at the bottom, read the other tag line in blue "How to sweat with your sweetie" First I really don't need some one telling me how to sweat with my sweetie, and sweating with my sweetie will definitely will not be in a gym.
So call me a dumb ass, because I'm spending time with dumb asses that set up my home page.. they're getting paid to piss me off this morning, EH! I'm looking for a job and so are 4million other people just ask Mr Barak Obama. I promise to set up the home page to inform, educate, tantalize and sell B.S.
Ok self take a deeeeep breath, exhale.. go to tools- options-main - home page highlight the crap within the box .. now press delete , press use current page. BINGO!!!!! Blank page from now on
Good bye sympatico.msn.ca... you all have a nice day.
